CCR mouthpieces BOV/DSV/MAV and offboarding gas
Hello, in this episode of the CCR Liberty in Detail series, Jakub Slama takes a closer look at Dive Surface Valves – DSVs; Bail Out Valves – BOVs; Automatic Diluent Valve – ADV; Manual Addition Valves – MAVs and Offboarding gas options.
The Liberty CCR offers both DSV and BOV options! For example, the sidemount configuration comes with DSV, whereas the backmount configuration can be customised with either the DSV or the BOV. Furthermore, the Dräger full face mask comes with the BOV.
Jakub shows a detailed build of the DSV and the BOV mouthpieces, mushroom valves and ADV, and where they are located on each type of CCR Liberty. He also gives an explanation of the MAVs, the Head-Up Display attachment (HUD) and the "nipples" adapter. Lastly, we take a look together at the Offboarding options for additional gas with the different configuration units.
