CCR Liberty ADV options
In the 5th episode of the CCR Liberty in Detail series. Our host, Jakub Slama, introduces the different types of Automatic Diluent Valves – ADV and what options to choose from with the Liberty configuration that can be best suited for the diver’s needs.
To open things up, Jakub first defines the general function of the ADV during descent. Secondly, he presents different types and functions of ADVs manufactured by Divesoft. He begins with the Mechanical ADV, followed by the Membrane ADV, a popular T-piece ADV, and the Direct Membrane ADV.
All these types of ADVs are simplified second stage regulators that can also be manually operated. Finally, he also talks about the ADV - BOV option, its different modes, and the adjustment of the tension of the threshold of the ADV.
